My name is Karla Barrera
and I am a Traditional Postpartum Doula, Healer, and Newborn Care Specialist.
I was born in El Salvador and came to the United States at twenty, carrying with me the wisdom of my lineage and the richness of Mesoamerican tradition. Though I left my homeland, its spirit lives on in the way I care for others.

In my practice, I weave professional newborn care with intuitive, heart-centered knowledge passed down through generations. I see the postpartum period as a sacred window: a time of healing and transformation, both physical and emotional, both practical and spiritual.

My role is to nurture both mother and baby with grounded, personalized support that honors each family’s unique rhythm. With presence, reverence, and care, I walk beside you — no judgment, only compassion, just as our ancestors intended.
